Gathering around 100 delegates from diverse fields from all across the Indian Ocean, the Indian Ocean Regional COY will focus on creating a platform for the younger generation to take a larger role in the future of the climate negotiations & sustainable sector in Africa.

Objectives and planned Outcomes

The three days regional workshop will bring together young climate advocate, activists, young professionals and industry representatives to consider and collaboratively engage in climate action in the Indian Ocean region. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with experts from academia, business and civil society through plenary and panel sessions , keynotes and interdisciplinary working group discussions.
